YES! It's a thing!
At least in my home :)
I'll start off with letting you in on the benefits of the ingredients!
CHICKEN BREAST! Chicken is an EXCELLENT source of essential nutrients that can support healthy brain function and development.
CAULIFLOWER RICE! This is delicious! You may be like my husband and say 'no way I am not TOUCHING that!' But it's good for you! Cauliflower rice is an EXCELLENT source of choline, a nutrient that plays a crucial role in brain development and overall cognitive function. Did I mention it's GOOD FOR YOU?
AVOCADO! Oh my goodness this is my favorite thing to snack on! In moderation though! It's a healthy fat but you don't want to eat more than half of one in a day. Avocados contain several nutrients that support brain function, including:
Monounsaturated fats: These fats provide energy to the brain and protect its cells from damage.
Lutein: This antioxidant helps improve cognitive function and reduce the risk of age-related macular degeneration.
Folate: This B vitamin is essential for producing neurotransmitters, which are chemicals that transmit signals in the brain.
Potassium: This mineral helps regulate blood pressure and blood flow to the brain.
LIME! Okay so everything has an exclamation mark at the end of it. I'm personally not this excited about limes, but I'll give it a try! These guys are filled with antioxidants and vitamin C. So not only will they help your immune system but they will defend your cells from free radicals! Those nasty buggers!
CILANTRO! I'm almost done being so excited for this recipe! Just a few more ingredients to go everyone! Eating this beautiful garnish will help with reduced symptoms of cognitive diseases, like Alzheimer's.
SALSA! Your body will LOVE you for adding in salsa! It has a great boost of vitamin C. Remember this is to help your immunity! It's hydrating; it has great antioxidants; and there's much more that salsa is good for outside of your brain!
GARLIC! This guy not only helps keep the vampires away, but it helps with offering neuroprotective effects, potentially reducing the risk of cognitive decline and age-related brain disorders, like Alzheimer's.
SOUTHWEST SEASONING! Hooray for the last one! There's so much on this one so I'll keep it super simple! It can help improve brain function and lower depression symptoms!
I knew there was a BIGGER reason for loving Taco Tuesday so much! There's a lot of brain power packed into this small bowl!
What are some of your favorite recipes that you would like for me to break down the goodness? You can message me, comment, or email me!
