Luke 1:37

Updated: Jan 1

The husband and I went to our church to celebrate Jesus the other night. Today marks the day He was born.

We were led to worship all evening and beautiful scripture was read to us about the birth of Jesus. At the end, when we lit our candles, some stood outside to bring light to the world passing by. We created a wonderful line from them all the way around our sanctuary. We sang ‘Joy to the World.’

Taking this time to honoring His birth and making me cry knowing He is still alive and preparing a room for each and every one of us. Below is my all-time favorite song 👇🏻

When we spoke about the angel, Gabriel, coming to Mary to tell her she is going to be giving birth to the Son of God; Mary answered that she is a faithful servant to the Lord, let His word be fulfilled. In Luke 1:37 it goes on to say the word of God will never fail.

We all have a word from God; open your ears and soften your hearts and ask God what your word is. Zacchaeus had a word. Mary had a word. Countless others in the bible had a word. YOU have a word.
